I'm trying to fill some data from 20001024. Since
I'm never quite sure which file the data are in,
I asked FILLM to look at two files. But it seems
to be ignoring NCOUNT, and happily reading along
to the end of the remote-mounted tape in spite of
what I told it to do. Here are my inputs,
followed by the messages:

I'm loathe to kill the thing, because I know what awful state that
always
leaves the TPMONs and other things in. But why on earth is it
merrily reading away to file 10, file 11, etc.?
