Hello,
	We've followed Patrick Murphy's advice (reprinted below) to
configure a data area, but AIPS still won't run. I get the following
error message:

$ /usr/local/src/AIPS/START_AIPS
START_AIPS: Your initial AIPS printer is the library
START_AIPS: - system name lw1, AIPS type PS

START_AIPS: User data area assignments:
DADEVS.PL: This program is untested under Perl version 5.006
  (Using global default file /usr/local/src/AIPS/DA00/DADEVS.LIST for
DADEVS.PL)
                  /usr/local/src/AIPS/DATA/SATCHMO_1 is currently
unavailable.

START_AIPS: Cannot start AIPS because there are no defined data areas!
START_AIPS: (check DADEVS.LIST or .dadevs files, or AIPSASSN.\*)
$

We made /usr/local/src/AIPS/DATA/ readable by me, but that didn't help.
Any advice?  Much thanks,
	Jane Rigby
