Hi Lisa,

Eric asked me to answer your e-mail.  In the future, it is a
good idea to send AIPS questions to daip at nrao.edu, that way
you are certain to get someone who will answer.

This is one of those error messages that really doesn't tell you
much.  It is probably something in your data that FRING, for some
reason does not like.  This could be a bug in FRING or there
could be something wrong with your data.  I would suggest, trying
FRING with an older version of AIPS, if there is one available and
varying the inputs a bit to see if that makes a difference, you
could limit the TIMERANGE, select ANTENNAS and/or CALSOUR... 

The only way for me to really diagnose this is if you send me your
inputs and some of your data.  UVCOP out a few minutes of data,
confirm that this makes FRING crash for you, and put it somewhere
I can ftp it over.
