[daip] Another installation problem

Hi Eric,
	I have decided to update the version of RedHat that I'm running 
to try to solve the problem (was using 7.0). 
	Meanwhile I've been trying to install on a DEC and while it works 
in general it fails to make a TV. I get this error (independent of 
whether I use the default compilers or the gcc compilers suggested on the 
web page.):
