In addition, after haveing read in the star file, and to avoid having to do
that each time you want bigger/smaller symbols, many tasks like GREYS have
an input parameter STFACTOR that controls the symbol size at execution of
the task - type 'help stfactor' or 'explain greys' for more information

#You should be able to control the sizes of the crosses by specifying
#them in your input stars file. Try "Explain STARS" for the format.
#For example, in the following STARS file, the first two positions
#are plotted as crosses with a gap (type 20) and are 15 arcsec by
#15 arcsec. The last two positions are plotted as normal crosses
#(type 0) and are 10 arcsec by 10 arcsec (columns 3 and 4).

#Sample file follows:
#
# 12 01 56.03 -18 53 22.2 15. 15. 0. 20 SN_1974E(J2000)
# 12 01 55.52 -18 52 47.2 15. 15. 0. 20 SN_1921E
# 12 01 52.82 -18 52 05.2 10. 10. 0. 0 N4038 Nucleus
