I find that CPASS is unable to represent the bandpass shape of the VLA
L band with a reasonable number of parameters.  You can run BPASS with
the 2 channels flagged and then ask it to interpolate for them.  This
should work fine.  I will look at the code you point out and see if I
=can find some problem.  I have tried to altetr CPASS before without
much success.
