IMERG uses a Fourier transform and so must have all valid pixels.  You
would not want it FFTing Nans (result = all Nans) or 10^8's (our magic
value) from single pixels (result = marvelous stripes).

Use REMAG to convert blanked pixels to a user chosen value.  A couple
of rotations with OGEOM might interpolate the blanks away.  You did
not say whether there are outer ~0 blanked areas or inner small
regions of blanks (~ not 0).
