[daip] questions on vla data analysis

Dear Yoshiaki,

I do not know why your line and ch0 data have different number of visibilities.
As I can guess the CH0 data was created by FILLM which made a mistake?
But BPASS can not reduce such data.

 
You can get around the problem if you:

1. Leave both in3name and in3class blank to allow BPASS creating CH0
2. Create external CH0 using the task AVSPC.

The second option is (may be) more preferable.

I am working on VLA spectral line data with AIPS, while running BPASS
there 
appeared messages like below.


 BPASS1: LINE & CHANNEL 0 FILES HAVE DIFFERENT NO. VIS. POINTS
 BPASS1: Purports to die of UNNATURAL causes


I typed imh and found that #visibility is different between CH.0 and
LINE data. The difference of the total number is only 1. For this
reason, there might exist something problematic with my data. Could you
answer this question for me? At least I wish to know how to 
run BPASS, regardless of this #visibility problem. Thank you.
