IMAGR allows the direct imaging without bothering with the SPLIT step
and that does not set this parameter at all. That still would not get
you what you saw since 0 leads to no display. The header KIALT
parameter is mostly used as an indicator that the alternative axis has
been set and hence needs to be subimaged.
Sigh - I wonder if it would be worth improving the choices and labels
here.
Affected would be:
/home/AIPS/31DEC01/APL/SUB/NOTST/DGHEAD.FOR
/home/AIPS/31DEC01/AIPS/SUB/AU7.FOR
/home/AIPS/31DEC01/AIPS/SUB/MSGHDR.FOR
/home/AIPS/31DEC01/APL/SUB/LSTHDR.FOR
/home/AIPS/31DEC01/APL/PGM/PRTTP.FOR
/home/AIPS/31DEC01/Y/PGM/NOTST/POSSM.FOR
/home/AIPS/31DEC01/APL/PGM/NOTST/MULTI.FOR
/home/AIPS/31DEC01/APL/PGM/NOTST/SPLIT.FOR
/home/AIPS/31DEC01/APL/PGM/NOTST/SPLAT.FOR
/home/AIPS/31DEC01/Q/PGM/NOTST/HORUS.FOR

/home/AIPS/31DEC01/APL/SUB/NOTST/GETFRQ.FOR
/home/AIPS/31DEC01/Q/PGM/NOTST/CVEL.FOR
If you ever find this again try to let me know what the circumstances
are.
Thanks, Eric
