[daip] putbck

HI,

When I putbcked the corrected version of PBEAM (today) I got the message:

C; Copyright.....1999
...
Edit file so you can fix it  y/n [n]

I thought that if I selected [y] I can change 1999 to 2001.
Instead I got the emacs window with nothing.
Having closed the window I got terminating of putbck.

Then I chose [n] and finished putbck succesfully.

Can somebody explain me what should I do getting this message?
