[daip] help with 31DEC01 install

Hi,

I'm having trouble installing the 31DEC01 on one of our Linux machines
(Redhat 7.0) using the install.pl script.  When the script gets to
unpacking 
the XAS.SHR archive, it hangs up until I Ctrl C out.  While it's hung
up, 
the script tries to use up all the CPU.  I've include below the last few 
messages before the hang.  Am I doing something wrong?  Any ideas?
