1. install.pl seems to edit $INC/PAPC.INC. This is dangerous since
that file is subject to the MNJ. Instead it should copy PAPC.INC
to $INC/NOTST/$ARCH and edit it there.

Furthermore, it recommended an 80 Mbyte AP on a 256 Mbyte computer.
That is too large. on a 512 maybe but not a 256. We loose too
much of the good Linux I/O taht way.

2. The RedHat 7.0 installation has had some problems currently under
   debug:

a $APLNOT/GRIDTB.FOR cannot be optimised. This one has given
     trouble before.

   b. $YSUB/GRBOXS.FOR cannot be optimised. This one has not given
      compiler troubles before.

   c. DDT UVMAP had peak bits -0.5 !! It made a reasonable image -
just looking like it had dropped all the long baselines. The
      cause is not yet known.

   c. Y2K Clean complained about loadeing every 4'th pixel to the AP
and still exceeding MAXPIXEL and then jumped from ~3000
iterations to 75000 in one cycle (usually that takes many mnay
cycles). BUT it cleaims peak accuracy ~8 bits!!! Cause not
      known at present.
