[daip] Installation of AIPS at LINUX

Dear AIPS-Team,

I tried to install AIPS (31DEC01) at LINUX (7.1), but it failed in
step2.
The complain was following:

LINK      :            -o
/home/dannerb/AIPS/31DEC01/LINUX/PREP/SETTVP.EXE
/usr/i486-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -ltermcap
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
LINK      : Status from /usr/bin/g77 is 1
LINK      : Link of    /home/dannerb/AIPS/31DEC01/LINUX/PREP/SETTVP.o

After some complains of this type, it finally stopped the installation.

I'd be very glad if you could give me some hints how to overcome this
problem.
