[daip] UVSUB changes UVWs of some of output data...for some CC models...

Dear DAIP,
  I've been trying to UVSUB a particular set of CLEAN components from a 
SPLIT uv-data set -- very standard stuff, nothing unusual except that the
original file has 3 subarrays (VLBA*2 + MERLIN).  UVSUB with _another_ image/CC table works fine.  UVSUB with this particular image/CC table appears to run 
successfully, but although the header shows all the data, UVPLT & IMAGR
both lose 28186 data points (out of an original 176515).  UVDIF on the
original and UVSUB'd data indicate that the reason is that the UVWs have
been mucked with for those 28186 data:
  U has been set to 50901 (for all of them)
  V has been set to     0 (for all of them)
  W seems to be unchanged.

Any thoughts?  The data are on comanche for the next few days, user number 213;
or I can copy the relevant files to a disk if you'd like.

  After UVSUB, although the header shows the same number of vis. (176515),
  both UVPLT and IMAGR report only 148329 vis.

  N.B. Although the example here shows a UVSUB done on an already-UVSUB'd data 
    set, the same error occurs when doing the identical UVSUB on the original
    (pristine) dataset -- see 2., below
