Thanks, that should help me to generalise my scripting a lot more.

Could you please help me obtain a CD of the 31DECOO release, as both setting
up and running the midnight job through my modest internet connection will
probably take longer than using our respective postal services. I had a look
at the AIPS website, but the former order form seems to have gone.

I am currently running the 15APR99 version (patched) under RedHat 6.0
(kernel 2.2.5-15), which I administer myself. It is registered as follows...

AIPS Registration for site SITENAME, host MOJO (please note,
these keys will not work if you change your SITE name in HOSTS.LIST,
or if you try to apply them on a host other than MOJO):

For AIPS version 15APR99 special code is 960057936
  Keys 1-3 are: 70342922 857737220 1429277466
  Keys 4-6 are: 503841824 74801502 136316932

More usefully, my address details are

Steven Heddle
Newington
Holm Road
Kirkwall
Orkney Isles KW15 1PY
UNITED KINGDOM

Cheers,
    Steven
