I can not find anything wrong there.

I think the problem is in the difference of 15APR98 and 31DEC99.

Let me resend your information to Eric Greisen who is the better expert 
in IMAGR and ...

He is not here now but expected to return tomorrow.

Note: On the other hand, I have 17 maps that I did in AOC with 31DEC99
version of AIPS. I wanted repeat some part of my job, so I ran IMAGR for
17 maps in 15APR98 version of AIPS (my version), the result was that in
this case IMAGR centered the 17 maps in different points compared with
IMAGR 31DEC99.
Also, the 15APR98 version can't combine well with FLATN any set of 17
maps (ie 31DEC99's maps or 15APR98' maps)
