I just tried this and verified it on Linux AND on Solaris. It is NOT a
Linux problem per se, but an AIPS command line limitation. You can only
enter 80 characters per line because of buffer size limitations. A quick
look at various $APLSUB routines and include files convinces me that it's
not just a quick fix to increase it either.
