[asac] For Monday's meeting

ASAC Members:

In preparation for the ASAC teleconference on Monday please try and look
at the pdf file at the address below.  This is the ALMA Cost Estimate
document that was presented to the ALMA Coordinating Committee (ACC) at
their meeting today (Friday April 7).  The file is about 20 pages (total
of 200 kB) and includes (1) a description of the scope of the ALMA
project; (2) a description of how the cost estimate was generated; and
(3) an 8-page table of the costed elements of the project Work Breakdown
Structure.

I would like to review all this material with you at the Monday
teleconference, to go over the scope and goals of the costed project, to
report on the ACC action, and to solicit your comments on the steps to
be taken next.
