"operational issues" could be listed (and quantified at
the risk of spending 2 or 3 telecoms arguing about a metric !)
e.g.
. time to move into another useful antenna configuration.
. baseline and pointing calibration after re-configurations.
. use of hybrid arrays in normal operation.
. use of hybrid arrays in case of suspended move due to weather or breakdown
. cycle time between arrays with different resolution.
. scheduling array configuration with appropriate resolution to each project.
. cross calibration of array configurations.
. short spacing overlap smaller antennas, or compact array
. more.
