I am somewhat concerned about the E array.  I recall seeing it in the
March Meeting, but had not heard of it before then.  It has significantly
worse surface brightness sensitivity than a more optimally packed design.

Has the justification for this larger E array been made and accepted, or
is it merely a convenience to avoid a detailed solution to a hard
problem?
