Thanks for your helpful note. We'll take those positions with us and
visit as many as we can. [Depending on other work, etc., 'as many as we
can' may be zero, but I'm hoping for a larger number than that!]

For the compact configurations, Bryan addressed the overall roughness
and slope of various locations in his recent memo 338. 

I am forwarding some notes I made in July when I visited a position Min
gave me near the center of your array.
