Dear DiFX enthusiasts,

Further to the pre-announcement from a couple of weeks ago, registration
and abstract submission for the 13th DiFX users and developers workshop is
now open. The workshop webpage can be found at
http://astronomy.swin.edu.au/research/conferences/difx2019/, and
registration is available from the website. Registration will close in
mid-October, and any questions can be directed to Adam Deller (
adeller at astro.swin.edu.au).

The workshop will be held on November 11-15, 2019, at Swinburne University
of Technology, in Melbourne, Australia. This is the week prior to the 8th
IVTW meeting (18-20 November) which is in Sydney, making it convenient to
combine attendance at both meetings for those who would like to do so.

As in previous years, we will commence with a 2 day users + developers
workshop. This year will feature participation by the Astronomy Data and
Computing Services (ADACS) group hosted at Swinburne, which will focus on
HPC code acceleration and managing large parallel jobs on a queued
supercomputer environment. The final three days of the workshop will focus
on DiFX development.

There will be no registration fee to attend the workshop.

Cheers,
Adam on behalf of LOC and SOC
