Final result of WFC deliberations? (fwd)

Dear Collegues,

  I am pleased to announce that the WFC (aka North American FITS
Committee) has unanimously (20-0) voted in favor of the Rots ammended
Bunclark proposal for the Year-2000 proposal, on how the DATE-OBS (and
related DATExxxx) keywords in FITS headers are to be implemented.
