Monday, 11 September 2017 - Friday, 15 September 2017

Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics,

Peking University, Beijing, China

You are invited to submit abstracts for contributed oral and poster
presentations. The meeting recognizes the seminal contributions of Jeremy
Mould to the subjects of stellar populations and the cosmic distance scale.
In the era of Gaia, JWST, and ELTs, both subjects stand to experience
dramatic advances enabled by these new facilities. The aim of this meeting
will be to consider the current status of stellar populations and the
distance scale, and to look forward in planning how to exploit the
opportunities these facilities offer. The website has additional
information, including a list of accepted invited review talks.

The registration fee of US $250 includes all lunches and a conference
dinner. There will also likely be organized tours of the Great Wall, Summer
Palace, and the Forbidden City planned for participants. Due to space
limitations, we must limit the total number of participants to 100.
