The meeting recognizes the seminal contributions of Jeremy Mould to the subjects of stellar populations and the cosmic distance scale. In the era of Gaia, JWST, and ELTs, both subjects stand to experience dramatic advances enabled by these new facilities. The aim of this meeting will be to consider the current status of stellar populations and the distance scale, and to look forward in planning how to exploit the opportunities these facilities offer. The website has additional information, including a list of accepted invited review talks. The registration fee of US $250 includes all lunches and a conference dinner. There will also likely be organized tours of the Great Wall, Summer Palace, and the Forbidden City planned for participants. Due to space limitations, we must limit the total number of participants to 100.
