Dear colleague,

We are pleased to announce the conference

“631. WE-Heraeus-Seminar: Stellar aggregates over mass and spatial scales”,

to be held during 5-9 December, 2016 at the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef (Bad Honnef Physics Center), Germany.

The meeting intends to gather senior and young researchers from all over the world in the areas of star formation, stellar dynamics and galactic center research, to review and discuss the key problems in these areas together. These communities overlap well in their scientific interests and therefore we think that such an event will enable them to interact closely, learn from each other and start new collaborative projects. The meeting will comprise few review, invited and contributed talks per day along with posters (there will be a poster introduction session), leaving ample time for formal and informal discussions.

All participants will stay and have meals in the campus of the Physics Center over the week. The full-board expenses of all registered participants will be generously covered by the Wilhelm und Else Heraeus Foundation. The participation will have to be limited to approx. 80 individuals in total. To maximize interactions and exchanges and also as a policy of the Foundation, participation is preferred over the entire duration of the event.

The website of the event is located in the following URL where you will find more information:

We look forward to see you this winter! Kindly also forward this message to your colleagues who would be interested in this event.

Your’s sincerely,
