[mmaimcal] On behalf of the ALMA Director and Deputy Director: Announcement of Ravinder Bhatia as Project System Engineer

  Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that the JAO announces the appointment of Dr 
Ravinder Bhatia to the position of Project System Engineer.  Ravinder 
has been an important contributor to system engineering at ALMA since he 
joined the project in September 2009.  Since that time, he has been 
critical to the process of coordinating global efforts to deliver the 
array, ensuring that it operates as a system and meets the challenging 
specifications that are central to ALMA’s potential.  His experience 
with ALMA’s technical reviews, configuration management and control will 
serve the construction project well as we enter the completion phase.

Ravinder’s appointment was effective March 1st and he reports to the 
Project Manager, Gary Parks.
