BIWEEKLY CALENDAR OF THE ALMA PROJECT at NRAO
                            June 6, 2005 - June 20, 2005

******************************** THIS FORTNIGHT*********************************
Fred Lo, Director of NRAO, announced that Adrian Russell is being named as
North American Project Director for ALMA at the NRAO. As such, he will have
oversight responsibility for both the NA ALMA Project Office for ALMA
construction, for which he remains NA Project Manager, and the NA ALMA
Science Center while ALMA is still under construction.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Antony Davies, ALMA/NA Controller, announced the appointment of Stefan
Michalski to the role of Planner/Scheduler for the ALMA Project, based
in Charlottesville as part of the NRAO Program Office.

Stefan joins us with significant experience from two challenging roles:
the oil industry, where he has been working as a planner/scheduler for
major maintenance projects, and the nuclear power industry where he was
in a similar role supporting major decommissioning and spent fuel
storage projects. Stefan will join the team in Charlottesville
immediately after the July 4th Holiday Weekend; his email and telephone
contact details will be passed out as soon as they are available.
Stefan will report to A. Davies for program direction.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
At the 25 May Change Control Board meeting, the 64 antenna correlator
(with tunable filter bank) requirements document was approved, as was
the Science Specifications and Requirements document as updated.
