Hello Mark, Brian,

thanks for response. For mosaicing we try to visit
all the pointings within the Nyquist uv interval, so
that there is not much time smearing in each integration.
For a single pointing with emission at the edge of the field,
a good solution would be to observe a 7 pointing hexagonal
mosaic, which solves the time smearing each uv-sample, and
gives a more uniform sensitivity over the primary beam.
Either way implies sampling the uv-data faster than Nyquist
rate.

Handling the data as an inverse problem where the model
is convolved by all the instrumental effects is an interesting
solution.
