Yes, the inverter makes the ID pins on the cable active-low. Thus,
when you set IP_ADDR_ID_0 to high, and IP_ADDR_ID_1 to low, I read
2. This all makes sense. Are all of the cables designed to have
active-high ID pins?  If so, I will change the driver, to have it
invert these bits before reporting them. The pins will then
effectively be active high.
