[fitswcs] WCS activity? and cross-pollenation

Is there any FITS WCS activity going on?

I'll also bother to mention that the geographic/cartographic community
has produced a specification which addresses many of the same issues
as are covered by G&C papers I and II.  I'd say that it's important
reading for anyone who is seriously studying the G&C proposals.  It's
the GeoTIFF spec at
