I guess that they want to EXPORT the result of a join done inside some 
other database tool (be it an user-chosen join, or a pre-canned join, like 
e.g. an SQL VIEW) ... so it could be simpler ... all extensions will have 
the same number of rows, and just be juxtaposed (like Unix "paste")
