[fitsbits] public comments on FITS conventions

This is a reminder that 3 FITS conventions are currently open for public 
comment:

1)  Spatial region file convention
2)  SIP image distortion convention
3)  TNX image distortion convention

Detailed information about these conventions and sample FITS files that 
use them are available for public review and comment from the FITS 
registry web page at

    http://fits.gsfc.nasa.gov/fits_registry.html

Since there may be some discussion of these conventions at the FITS 
session at the ADASS meeting on November 4th, the public comment period 
will not formally close until the end of the following week, on November 
15th.
