[fitsbits] FITS Conventions reminder

This is a brief reminder about the FITS conventions that are currently
being considered for the Registry of FITS Conventions (see
http://fits.gsfc.nasa.gov/fits_registry.html):


* The public comment period on the Hierarchical Grouping convention
nominally ends this week.

* The public comment period on the "Multi-beam FITS"
(MBFITS) format for data taken with mm and sub-mm single-dish
telescopes remains open for about 2 more weeks.

* The next convention scheduled for review is the CHECKSUM keyword
convention.  Further information about this convention will be posted at
the above web site at the start of the public comment period next week.
