[fitsbits] Simbad retrival format for apparent magnitude V

I am trying to coax apparent magnitudes, out of a Simbad copy of the
Hippachrus and Tycho catalogue, using a batch file of Simbad's query
language.

Getting the absolute B-V magnitude is no problem, e.g. - 

:Magnitude absolute
:TEXT "JohnsonBMagnitude_"
:MAG (6,"mb=") (1,5) | TEXT " "
TEXT "/"
MAG (11) (1,5," " 12,5)

But I cannot seem to coax out the apparent magnitude variable, e.g. - 

:Magnitude apparent
TEXT "/"
MES Vmag I/239 

Does anyone know enough about the Simbad command line query language
to provide some guidance on retrieving apparent magnitude?
