A revised draft of "Representations of celestial coordinates in FITS" dated
1999/05/14 is now available from my home page

   http://www.atnf.csiro.au/people/mcalabre

or from Eric's ftp area

   ftp://ftp.cv.nrao.edu/NRAO-staff/egreisen.

This revision

  * Admits "yzLN"/"yzLT" CTYPE codes for longitude/latitude axis pairs; it
was felt that the 26 possibilities for "xLON"/"xLAT" would not be enough.

  * Augments the distortion function for the TAN projection to include 7th
order terms. This is sufficient to account for the complex distortions
    found in Schmidt plates.

  * Includes another header construction example, this one describing
selenographic coordinates for an image of the moon.

Time is running out to make further comments!
