From: Michael Rupen
Subject: More data from the weekend
Hi folks --
please have a look at
/home/casa-dev-11-2/mrupen/WIDAR0/62_2_sb173626_1_002.55255.262007060184*
- WICloopOffCtr -- 0217 on-axis, the other source 1arcmin N of the
center -- is the sky the right way up?
/home/casa-dev-11-2/mrupen/WIDAR0/62_2_sb173705_1_001.55256.61417907407*
- Lband RFI check -- are the RFI spikes at the right frequencies?
We'll have to invoke Dan to be sure we get these right.
Note the .uvflg files, for what they're worth.
I tried doing a polcal run Saturday night, but made some stupid mistakes
so it didn't run. We'll try again this evening.

Just to be sure, run IMEAN, or some such, on the offset source, and check
that the reported position is indeed that given in the calibrator manual.

0157+747 J2000 A 01h57m34.964908s 74d42'43.229980"
Imstat gives max at : maxposf=01:57:34.965, +74.42.43.230
(since the offset pos is on a pixel)
Imfit gives: ra=01:57:35.03541 dec=74.42.43.23671
Image has 3" pixels.

Results: test_62_2_sb173626_1_002.55255.262007060184.*
Plots: test_62_2_sb173626_1_002.55255.262007060184.*.png
Data Quality: ea13 no C-band, ea05 RR bad delays
ea03 spw 0 has phase offsets for some scans
baselines ea03&ea26 and ea18&ea26 spw 1 LL low amplitude
ea06 spw 1 RR amplitude jumps of 10% from scan to scan (and inside
long second scan)
Note: there are occasional zeroes. Also, because the two sub-bands are from
different basebands, there is no phase connection across them (even though
they are adjacent) and the delays in 2nd sub-band/baseband are higher than
the first.
IMPORTANT: There was shadowed data. Flagged these at 28m. This made a huge
difference in image residuals. This gets rid of ea04, ea08, ea21, ea25.
Calibration:
No issues. Assumed J0217+7349 was 1.0 Jy.
No blcal. Bandpass, Amp, Phase transferred from Field 0 to Field 1.
Image Quality:
Note rms values assume peak of Field 0 is 1.0Jy, so they equate to dynamic
range.
