A MySQL-based database named widarmon has been setup on
mctest. It now contains widar correlator data dating from
Tue, 6/22/2010 at 15:45:00 to the present.

A version of the monitor data query interface modified to
allow direct selection of the board type, rack, crate, and
slot can be found at:

https://mctest.evla.nrao.edu/widarmon-monquery/main.faces

Currently, the query interface will ID itself as:

MONITOR DATA QUERY IF, Ver 1.3.7.2, 06/16/2010,17:15,
     widarmon-monquery, mptdata_r

If you need or want access to widar correlator data, then
you will probably find this database and the customized
version of the query interface much easier to use and
much faster than accessing the data via evlamon and the
EVLA antenna oriented version of the query interface.

Caveats
Both the database and the customized version of the query
interface are considered to be test versions and may be
modified or blown away and replaced with different versions
on little or no notice. These facilities are not meant to
be a production environment and it is too early in the
development process to create separate test & production
environments.

On The Other Hand
Since it is early in the development process, if you use
this customized version of the query interface and provide
feedback about what is lacking, what does not seem to work
well, what a better approach might be, i.e., what you want
there is a reasonable chance you might actually get it.

Points of Contact
The current division of labor is database issues: Stephan
Witz, database loader program: Rich Moeser, query interface:
Bill Sahr

However, I am will to serve as a general purpose, single point of
contact for comments, feedback, requests, bugs, and problems on all
aspects of this trial project.

Bill Sahr

BTW, if there are monitor points that you would like to see
included in the data being archived, please do speak up. We
really would like people to express what they need and want
in the database.
