It shouldn't be necessary for Ken for fool the S-band antennas into thinking they are C-band. According to Google (who knows everything ...), the Sirius satellites broadcast LCP -- so a quick inspection of the antenna outputs, via Walter's bandpass tool, should be sufficient to tell us which one is (was) correct.
