    I checked the bandpass stability, using the x-band observations 
taken this morning. 

    Forming a BPASS solution every 5 minutes, using a 50-channel 
smoothing (6.25 MHz) and looking at the differentials, both the 
amplitude and phase residuals appear random (other than residual delay 
slopes, most notable on antenna 1), with amplitude excursions of 0.1% 
and phase fluctuations of typically 0.1 degrees.  There are no visible 
'edge' effects. 

    To do better, we'll have to stare at a much stronger object, over a 
longer time.  3C84, or 3C273 would do.  For this experiment, closure is 
not an issue.
