Within the Executor there is no "sub 1" and "sub 2". The correlator
mode, and there is only one, is chosen by the majority subarray (one
antenna, one vote). It does not implement different modes in different
subarrays because, until the advent of the extended C band, there had
been no demand for them. In any case, I believe the correlator
hardware forces a choice of recirculation factor on a quadrant basis.
The line/continuum subarray mode is not supported by the correlator
controller.
Baseband filters belong to individual antennas, and are set as commanded
by the script that controls them. This is a danger - having the filters
not matching the recirculation factor is generally not good for your data.
