Doing the real-time thing is easy for Y1 observations in the Modcomp-free
system, and I have stuff that does it, as nearly as I can tell by looking 
at the debug mode outputs.  If somebody wants to try it, use escapes to i
nsert in the script, before the first execute,

subarray.setCorrelatorSetup(None)
sdvlbi(<antennaName>)

where <antennaName> is something like "va06", or whatever the current 
VLBI antenna is.

Getting the calibration information across is another (and much more
difficult) matter.
