Hi Vivek,

   Thanks for the reality check.  Yes, now I see why there are 
inconsistencies between group delays and phase delays.  The phase slope 
in the IF phase differences you have observed previously are similar to 
the ones that I see.

   Why didn't the July 1 experiment show this effect?  Apart from the 
uvw sign convention, Neil is getting a great image with <30 uJy noise 
level and very good phase stability, even before calibration.
