Mark suggested I forward this report to a wider audience.
Summary: 14 and 18BD work at 4 band. 18AC still has a
problem whose symptom is a strong birdie seen in
autocorrelation.

Hmm,
I filled data from APEVLA 20061005 0 23 0 0 0 23 59 0
(*without* flags turned off) and got data from An 14 and An 18.
Nice 4 band fringes for An 14. No fringes to 18 on the AC pair,
but nice fringes on the BD pair. There is indeed a birdie in 18A
near the band edge (right now I don't want to figure out
which edge - 0 channel edge). One *might* convince oneself
that there are very weak fringes on 18C.
So whatever whatever you did this afternoon more-or-less worked,
especially for 14 and 1/2 of 18.
Chuck will be happi(er).
Mark
