Hi EVLA testers and Gregg,
This is a quick summary of the behavior of EVLA antennas in experiment
AH908 from about May 19/20, 2006. Much has changed in the month so this
is more for historical completeness and for Gregg's (the PI's) interest.
All of the below is based on observations of the calibrator 1513+236.
These data are in 2 10+ hour blocks, one at C and one at X band.
For Gregg's benefit: IF A -> IF 1 R-pol
IF B -> IF 2 R-pol
IF C -> IF 1 L-pol
IF D -> IF 2 L-pol
At X-band: Antenna 16 IF C, 18 B/D are absent. The later are explained
by missing downconverter (L302). Antennas 14 and 16 show higher than
normal fringe rates, still <~1 turn over the full night. Perhaps
antenna positions are not perfectly well known? Shouldn't affect this
science.
At C-band: Antenna 18 had no C-band receiver. Antenna 14 had very low
amplitudes -- should flag all of Ant 14 from this C-band observation.
The phases look right, and the noise on the amplitudes looks OK too.
Pointing error??? IF C on antenna 16 is again missing.
I think 16 C's problem was with data transmission. If so, then only the
Ant 14 at C-band was an unexpected problem.
