[evla-sw-discuss] Java upgrade on Linux

Our current version of java (1.7.0_17 from Oracle) has an expiration
date that expired May 16th.  What this means now is that starting java
applications over the web using javaws, like the EVLA Operator
Software, may no longer work.

Because of this, I will be upgrading java on Wednesday, May 22 to the
latest version (1.7.0_21).  If you have any reason not to upgrade,
please let me know as soon as possible.
