I can set up the infrastructure to push Oracle Java 7 to managed Macs
on demand -- I expect I could have it ready and basic testing completed
by the 31st if necessary. I would prefer to wait for NRAO's CCE groups
to declare general availability for Java 7 for all platforms before
pushing OJ7 to all NRAO Macs.

Input from other admins on this matter would be appreciated.

Notes to Mac admins: We can set up a "condition" in Munki that would
detect the presence of EVLA software on a Mac and use this condition to
auto-trigger installation of Java 7. Or we can manually add it to
appropriate manifests. I'm cool with either way. I do need to figure out
how to handle upgrades from Java 6 to Java 6; We may need to call Java 7
a different product (like we do with Office 7 vs 11) to allow easy
manifest editing. I'll sort this out next week when I'm back from Apple
training.
