[evla-sw-discuss] EVLA lustre metadata server

   There's a slight problem with Lustre at the EVLA.  Lustre itself
is fine and writes/deletes/reads of the file system work without
error.

   The NFS automounter on the Lustre MDS (metadata server) appears to
be hung so it can't mount /home/os which is needed every night for some
cron jobs.  In addition ssh attempts hang since it can't automount
things like /home/local and /users.

   I'm fairly certain it's fine to leave it as is till wednesday when
we were planning on re-addressing it and the storage server anyway.

   If you see any problems with Lustre let me know.
