[evla-sw-discuss] Current EVLA state

We just rebooted the VLA switch into the old IOS and
proved the D-30X MIB boot problem went away. Antenna7
was the only antenna suffering the problem and its
D-30X's are now up.
I also captured a DHCPOFFER reply as it left the switch
to compare to one from the new IOS. That may help Cisco
understand how the new IOS conforms to newer versions of
DHCP (that Linux, Windows etc use) but not older versions
of DHCP that the MIB's use.
We then rebooted the switch back into the new IOS and
I re-applied the sg-expiry-timer correction to deal with
dropped alerts and reference pointing issues.
We really need to test reference pointing and alerts to
ensure I've properly re-applied all the new configs. Swapping
between old, new IOS removes all configs that aren't supported
in the old IOS.
The current state *should* be:
o All antennas are up (including 7) except 21. It went off
the air as it has lately whenever the main switch reboots. I
believe Rob Long is going to reboot the M&C rack.
o Reference pointing and Alerts should work properly, better
than they have since February in the alert case.
o All D30X's on all antennas are up but will not reboot properly
so antennas should not be power cycled until the problem is
solved.

ps: Not sure who else in electronics should receive this.
