[evla-sw-discuss] upgrade from rhel5.3 to rhel5.4

The latest batch of Linux updates from Red Hat is sufficient to change
the version of the OS from rhel5.3 to rhel5.4. This is not a re-install
like we did from rhel4 to rhel5, but mearly a set of RPMs that will
be installed while the Linux machine is up and being used.

I have a public workstation, phecda, which has already been upgraded. Rich
Moeser has inspected it and says it works with his software. Can others
please chime in with any problems with the new rhel5.4? I would like to
update the rhel5.3 machines at the AOC and the VLA in the near future.

thanx
